I asked, "Do you guys have a gluten-free bun?" The bartender guy responded by saying one word; "Bread"
"Im sorry," I said, "I was asking if you have a gluten-free bun." Again, the bartender responds with a single word, "Bread." Confused, I repeated myself for a third time, "Im asking if you guys have a gluten-free bun." At this point, it's become awkward, so he finally decided to grace me with more than a one word answer. "We have gluten-free bread, like toast," he finally said.
"Ohhh, gotcha, I understand now. I'll just have no bun, thank you." I said.
Why is this so hard? Why does it have to be like pulling teeth to get simple information? This was at 9am on the 4th of July. If you need help, obviously, the appropriate response is, "No, we dont have a gluten-free bun, but we do have gluten-free bread, like toast."
What's hard about that? You can't formulate a complete sentence even after being asked the same question twice?
Extremely rude. I get it. You dont have to try because you're mostly getting tourists who you'll never see again. That's fine. I've been coming here for literally years, and I'll probably be back because nothing is open in Sedona past 9. I'm happy to change my review if you can get it right next time.
