We were so happy to come back after 6 months home in Scotland! Everything was just as we remembered. A busy, happy, lively lunchtime. The menu del día was excellent value and the staff really made an effort to understand my mediocre Spanish, especially taking time to clarify what our req were (2 gluten freecoeliacos”). One of us had the standard 3 courses, one had 2 first courses and one had only main course. All of this was accommodated with a smile. Most importantly, everything was delicious!! One point - tips/propinas, can only be paid in cash/en efectivo. so next time we’ll bring cash - they deserve it!! We ate - olives/veg and bread, 2 mixed cheese/meat platters, ribs/crispy potatoes, local seafood rice (arroz a banda), mixed grill (included super tasty chorizo and morcilla) and a chocolate cake, Pepsi, water, bottle of wine and coffees. The bill - for 3, including drinks - 40€!! We’re here 10 more days and will visit again soon!

I had always liked to come, but since I was diagnosed with gluten intolerance I no longer enjoy going out anywhere I used to go. There are few places adapted for celiacs, and in this place this happens, they do not have bread for celiacs or an adapted menu. I have had roast chicken that was very delicious, and salad, but I am disappointed to have to order fruit while the rest eat a cake or sweet. The only positive thing about all this is that I eat healthier.
