The staff are always warm and the food is some of the best-value, most comforting North Indian food I've had in the UK. Start with a fizzy Thums Up and something fried, and then get the saffron-scented Zafrani Murgh for the table, the Fauji Lamb Curry with a fresh rumali roti to fight over, and the Chhole Kulche for a flavour-packed veggie option that will have you half asleep cradling your food baby before the bill arrives. If you like samosa chaat and other picky bits, this is a great place to try a milder version of those - Indians may find the pani puri and chaats a tad sweet but the dabeli is a great super savoury snack option. We've been many times, including with a family member who had a Gluten sensitivity, and didn't have any trouble finding dishes suitable for her.
A neighbourhood staple worth supporting, and Leagues above your average takeaway joint. Dig in with your (impeccably clean) hands!
