I have been here a couple of times and my visits have been consistently pleasant. There's plenty of parking in back and you can enter from either the front or back of the building. The seating is limited so plan ahead at peak times. There's a couple of seats in the window that provide plentiful natural light during the day and everything is low lighting by sundown. The menu clearly labeled gluten-free options. They were plentiful and as someone with a gluten-free restriction, I went with Kristen's Stir Fry and it did not disappoint! I especially recommend the Yellowfin Ahi Tuna as a starter. Someone in my party ordered the Smoked Pork Belly & Grits which was equally delicious and I may order next time. Our server was good and kept our glasses full. We opted to get dessert at an ice cream place not far since dessere options were scarce in the gluten-free department. Bathrooms are at the back and if you enter from the back, you will see them in the hallway as you enter the restaurant. They were clean and in good working order. Overall, I definitely recommend. :)

The most amazing dining experience yet in Cookeville. Seven Senses has been on my try list for a year and a half! I'm so happy I finally made it. Ok here we go: Every single bite of food was an amazing experience. I went with two girlfriends and we all ate the exact same thing. I pointed out the lowcountry bowl and we all had to try it! The bowl base is grits. I went in with an open mind about the grits. These are not your grandmas plain ol butter grits. These are skillfully prepared and seasoned. They are cheesy and buttery and shined very brightly in the bowl. I would go back just to eat these grits! The grits are topped with a creole sauce, lump crab, grilled shrimp, a fried green tomato and roasted kernels of corn. I'm rarely at a loss for words about how something tastes but I am struggling to describe it as anything other than a symphony of deliciousness. Hands down in the top 10 dishes I've ever eaten. All three of us loved loved loved it. We started with the spinach dip appetizer. The chips are thin, crispy and just the right amount of salty. The spinach dip was creamy and wonderful and the jalapeño sprinkled on top added a nice pop of zip! We finished every single bite! Ambiance was a small bustling bistro. Full of happy chatter and happy eaters. I loved it. The service: Our server was Kendall. She was hustling the whole evening but with a calm and confident demeanor. She was a professional and took care of us with perfection. Just the right amount of attention. We never had to look for her nor were we overly interrupted by her. She was a 5 star server. Seven Senses is worth every single penny. The five stars is for everything. I rarely eat anything other than vegetarian and I'm so glad this was my splurge meal! Side note: This restaurant does offer vegan, vegetarian and gluten free menus. My only problem with this is that when you take a closer look at the vegan and vegetarian menus they are just some of the same menu items minus meat. There's no substitutions and there's no creative options that are solely vegan or vegetarian. I call these the minus menus. Grateful to have them but always wishing for some of the creativity to spread to the special menus too. I will go back to this restaurant a thousand times.
