Stax Omega Diner

We visited Greenville and were excited to know there was a diner, and it did not disappoint. The gluten-free pancakes are pretty tasty. 🥞 gluten-free pancakes with bacon 🥞 bananas foster pancakes

We were looking for a place to have breakfast that was Gluten Friendly and found it at the Stax Omega Diner. The menu is clearly marked with what is Gluten Friendly and what is not. Our waitress Kate was amazing and very knowledgeable about my allergy. She told me what I could eat and what I could not eat. Got a delicious Omelet, fried potatoes and grits and it was delicious!! No gluten reactions at all! I highly recommend this place for breakfast and ask for Kate when you get there, she will take good care of you. The only negative thing I can say is the young man who took us to our seat had a horrible attitude, zero personality, never said a word to us, no smile, nothing! His action was saying to us " I don't want to work today!!!" My advice to management is to have your front end greeters and seaters your best with a great, welcoming personality and smile :)!! Other than that, this place is great!!

The check-in process was awesome. Pre checked in online and walked right in to check in on tablet waited all of 2 minutes before being seated. My gf and I both opted for breakfast. The service was great, and food came out quick, but food was AWFUL. bacon tasted reheated and was overcooked. Eggs over easy were liquid and inedible (sent them back, and we NEVER do that). Second round was okay. Gluten free pancakes and waffles were raw in center. We didn't have the heart to send back more food so we drowned it in syrup. The strawberry compote was COLD. It should absolutely been warm. Black coffee was good. Again waitress was good, food awful. Won't go back.
