Strange Matter Coffee MSU Union

Strange Matter is a must-visit for anyone on Michigan State's campus. This women/queer owned coffee shop offers a delightful selection of beverages and treats, with a special focus on vegan and gluten-free options. The staff, especially Eli and Tristan, are always friendly and helpful. Eli is fantastic to work with for campus events, and Tristan's cheerful demeanor makes every visit a pleasure. Tried the coffee and the specialty orange creamsicle latte - both were delicious! The scones are heavenly and next time I’ll try those adorable little gluten-free donuts. The shop itself is super cute. The manager, Eli, was the only employee (since school is not yet back in session) and he handled all the orders with efficiency and charm. Great atmosphere, fantastic drinks, and homemade scrumptious bakery items - not to be missed!
