Had dinner with colleagues and their misses last Wednesday night. Wonderful night views of city. We ordered the sharing menu The duck breast and lamb rack was tasted so beautiful. Strato also do vegetarian and gluten free options. The service is promptly attended during our dining in.

I hate leaving bad reviews but i honestly can’t believe how bad our experience was here. My partner and i both went on saturday night and it was extremely busy. We waited over an hour for our food. It took an hour for my glass of wine to come out so was told it would be taken off the bill (it wasn’t). Then, when our food came out, it looked like a child had slapped it together. We were sitting in front of the kitchen and it was a catastrophe in there - i don’t know how they can run a business like that. Anyway there was no effort put into the presentation whatsoever, the risotto looks beautiful in photos and looked like a sloppy mess when it came out. Half of it was about to fall out the bowl. We ordered the burrata salsa as an entree and there was ONE CHERRY TOMATO on there, and it cost $31. Like come on. My partners linguine had absolutely no taste. Garlic potatoes were soggy as if they’d been heated in the microwave. Atmosphere is beautiful, food is not. Having a waitress tell the chefs what they need to do is not how a restaurant should be run. The prices are ludicrous for what you get. I had gluten as a dietary restriction and was offered a dish containing gluten as an entree so they obviously don’t read if you’ve put any dietary preferences. Then to top it off we just wanted to get out of there and had to ask 3 different people for the bill
