Sweet Rice Lao-Thai Eats

Read through the reviews and was curious to see a lot of first time reviewers commenting on wait times or prices. If you're eating out in downtown Sulphur Springs, this is great for price. $12-16 on average. If you're looking for good quality meals downtown at cheaper prices than that in this economy, unfortunately, you're fooling yourself. Some meat and veggie dishes look smaller because it comes with a big portion of white rice. Mixed together you get a good amount of food. Noodle dishes are massive and tasty. My family and I have tried 4 different noodle dishes, steak with peppers, fried rice, pho, spring rolls, etc. Never disappointed. Gives you a great change of pace from other restaurants in the area. Good for a healthier or gluten free/dairy free options as well! Also OPEN ON MONDAYS. Not just meat and bread. As for wait times, they're trying to hire and struggling to find people it seems. Theyre busy at meal times when ive gone and i see a lot of smiling faces, including the waiter who has a fantastic handlebar mustache. So be patient! Small indoor space with about 6 tables but plenty of seating outside with heaters when it gets cold. For quality, price, and flavor, one of the best international options in SS.
