The food was good. Ribs had a great BBQ flavor and the mac & cheese was binded well as a vegan alternative. The most disappointing part of this experience is the small portion size for the “weekly special”. I paid $16.22 for two fairly small pieces of BBQ ribs and a side, for lunch special there ‘should’ (very subjective) be a protein & two sides. The price seems alittle inflated for what you get. Also, I asked the person bringing my food out if the ribs were made with Seitan (a gluten based meat substitute), I was told the ribs are made primarily with jackfruit, but it’s obvious the ribs are mixed with a binder that may or may not contain gluten. I would suggest that’s noted on their menu in case anyone has a gluten sensitivity. Would I return? Maybe, maybe not.
