Perhaps one of the cleanest hotels I've been to and the soundproofing is really good to get a wonderful night's sleep. The staff were exceptional and ever so helpful throughout my stay, and the breakfast was sublime, with lactose-free alternatives available as well as gluten-free bread. The swimming pool, sauna, and steam room were wonderful, relaxing, and free of charge. The location is only a short walk from York train station (less than 5 mins).

Fantastic afternoon tea, service fantastic,nothing to much trouble. As a ceoliac the gluten free option was outstanding especially the dark chocolate fancy.Well done worth every penny.
