The Stag and Huntsman is an amazing pub. We went there for breakfast for my husband's 40th birthday and the woman who runs the pub was so warm and friendly. She was attentive without being suffocating, and clearly had a great relationship with her team. The food was brilliantly cooked, the filter coffee was fresh and they adapted food for ny sister-in-law, who has a severe gluten allergy. The setting is spectacular and we will definitely return. It is a special place.

Ordered the food but lady didn’t understand so called someone else. That’s fine, I’d rather them check but I ordered the Gluten Free Ploughman’s which came out with pork pie (not GF). It was taken away but removed from the plate and pork pie crumbs left on the tray. Concerning.
Ham was too thinly sliced and cheese was okay. Wouldn’t order again
