We had a late lunch on a Friday, and Brandon was attentive even though the restaurant was mostly empty due to a private event that had just ended. 3 of us had salads, 2 of us added grilled chicken, and they were all delicious! I LOVED the Beet and goat cheese salad. The quantities of each ingredient were spot on! My mom had the coconut kale with shrimp, which was fresh, not frozen. It was slightly heavy on the kale. My daughter is gluten-free, and they have a few options. The Valkyrie has beautiful decor, and the chairs and booths are comfortable. I can't wait to come back for a Thurs Taps and Thrift night. Keep up the excellent quality of food and great service! Add some stout beer to complete the offerings.
Oh, good to know for next time! I'd recommend Perrin Black Stout, New Holland the Poet, or Bell's Kalamazoo Stout.
