We enjoyed an excellent Sunday lunch here, one of our group has a gluten allergen and the team were really great at checking ingredients, answering questions, and then re assuring us that it was gluten free. The food was cooked well and the dinner was lovely and fresh with a good selection of veg, prices really reasonable. Would definitely recommend.

Have been coming to the Carriage house for Sunday lunch once a month since it opened. I cannot believe that such a good restaurant does not cater for celiacs requiring a gluten free option. The prawn cocktail wax the only starter option for me today and they did not have any bread to go with it. Considering we had to wait a good half an hour for our starters I am not sure why one of the many young girls that seem to be not doing too much at all couldn’t have nipped over to the co op for some gluten free rolls or bread ? The roast wax fantastic as always but when it came to dessert there wasn’t one gluten free option on the menu. I asked if they had any gluten free options and was informed I could have raspberry sorbet. Come on the Carriage get up to date and start stepping up to the mark.
