The Fig Tree KI

I would say this was one of my best dining experiences I have ever had. The moment you arrive, you are welcomed by the staff and made to feel relaxed. It felt this way too, due to such a casual approach including a unique,peaceful and amazing views under the tree. You just can't help but to look around and take in the nature your sitting amongst. The food was simply the most possative WOW!! After 5 outstanding entrees, you get to your mains. Let's just say,I had not only great food but a very plentiful amount also. My partner is coeliac and she was catered for gluten free foods all throughout with ease and superb taste. It's an experience I shall never forget. It is a must for anyone travelling to and around K I. Congratulations to all involved with the Fig Tree Restaurant, you all exceeded any standard I had.

We were lucky enough to dine at The Fig Tree on their opening day. The location within a 140 year old fig tree is just incredible, very intimate dining experience. We had the best aperol spritz to start off and the plates of delicious food kept coming from there. As a pescatarian, I was well looked throughout the whole degustation after including barramundi wings!! We also had vegans and coeliacs within the group and they all had beautiful alternatives. Couldn't recommend more when visiting Kangaroo Island!!
