The Ganton Greyhound

As a coeliac I can highly recommend visiting this wonderful establishment, My husband myself and daughter with our Grandson came for a meal on sixth of March. Steve and Sharon are so friendly and helpful, the food was outstanding 👌, garlic mussels, rib eye steak with Stilton sauce I can't speak highly enough of the food and atmosphere,

Firstly, the food, and the restaurant service, was absolutely fantastic. We ate there both nights we stayed, and had lovely meals both times. The menu covers most tastes, and there are vegetarian and gluten-free options. There were specials as well. One word of warning ... the meals are VERY filling! We just about managed three courses on the first night, but had only a main course and a shared dessert on the second, which was plenty. The gent behind the bar was really friendly and attentive. Breakfast was also lovely, and very filling. The room was small, but absolutely spotless, as was the bathroom. The only downside was the poor state of repair in the bathroom. The toilet seat didn't fit properly, the pedal bin was missing it's pedal, the shelf above the sink was missing, as were the hooks that had once been on the bathroom door, the plug chain was broken, and the shower hose was hanging on by a thread. It was very quiet at night, although we stayed during the week. We would stay again, as it is very reasonably priced, but it would be for the lovely meals, rather than for the accommodation.
