Had an absolutely delicious meal here for our anniversary. The staff were very attentive and even remembered we needed a gluten free meal, asked if our dog needed water and offered a treat for her. My gf fish and chips were the best I've had in a long time. Plenty of gf options which was such a treat for me. My husband had the steak pie and it was crammed full of meat. Slightly expensive but completely worth it. Good range of drinks too. Looking forward to going back.

The food was nice enough and they cattered for gluten free. However the service was an absolute disaster. No warm or friendly welcome, no customer service, no care given and when issue were raised no come back whatsoever. If you do not want or don't have the skills to work in hospitality well then dont. It's not for everyone.
Remember, food can be nice but you need skilled, kind and committed staff serving it.
No wonder the place had 5 tables on a Wednesday night in half term.
