A bakery oasis in Redditch, To sample the best from this bakery best get down there early to avoid disappointment. Plenty of choice on offer but limited quantities , Bread wise, mostly sour dough, no bad thing, but with a good selection of wheat and gluten free also, ( half the price of supermarkets and tastier). We tried a standard loaf, a honey/rye loaf and a gluten free loaf , in fact the GF loaf was hardly noticeable from the wheat loaf, all bread disappeared very quickly for sandwiches etc! The desserts are something else, they look good and taste even better.
Please note... We found the Bread is best eaten within 1 to two days of purchase or you will be toasting it.
Worthy of note, revisited the bakery last week with my daughter, a nurse in our local hospital, she recognised the gentleman behind the counter as the guy that regularly visited the hospital with free cakes and pastries for the staff during covid.😊
