Asked for gluten free fish and chips, young lad in glasses asked did I want them cooked in a separate pan and if so it would be 30 minutes because the pan wasn’t on. He looked shocked when I said yes I’d wait and said he could cook it in the shared pan. I’m confused why the takeaway offer gluten free option if it may then be contaminated from a shared pan. It’s not a dietary choice I choose. I have a serious allergy with awful symptoms. I waited for the gluten free pan and the food was lovely, decent batter, not greasy but sadly I’ve had a reaction and been really unwell most of the night. I won’t return.
