Here's a good food location in an otherwise lacking area. Standard pub menu is enhanced by a number of home made Italian dishes which includes several vegan and gluten free dishes. This was most welcome by my wife. Although they don't use a separate wine menu, they suggested a very good, very reasonably priced NZ Sauvignon Blanc.
This pub slash restaurant is located in the middle of Waterbeach, a Cambridge City commuter village with easy access to the Cam river and surrounding fens. You can get here easily from Cambridge by train or local bus.

Good food, friendly staff, and nice to see a menu clearly ladled for Gluten Free (as well as vegetarian). Had a company lunch here recently and everyone enjoyed.
