So I have tried Tso RR a few times and been underwhelmed most of the time. I really appreciate all the gluten free options, which is why I keep giving it another go.
Tonight the steamed rice tasted kinda like cardboard. The egg drop soup was awful. Like water with some egg and veggies in it. No flavor at all. Not even salt. Just egg water.
The salt and pepper shrimp is always good. Orange chicken pretty standard, but good. The rest of the fam days their food (fried rice, egg rolls, general Tso's chicken) was alright. Not great, but not bad. Long delivery time, but I knew a ahead of time. It came within the time frame they gave me when I ordered. No big deal.
Like I said, I WANT to love the food because they actually have so many gluten free options and no other Asian place does that. But I spent over $100 tonight and I didn't want to eat everything I received. I don't mind the price knowing they pay well. I just want to know my food will be worth it, as well.
(I didn't give a rating for atmosphere because I've never been in the store. I can't speak to the atmosphere.)
