'WITHOUT PREJUDICE': I ordered gluten free fish & chips this evening and asked for it to be well done otherwise the batter is soggy. Am in absolute shock that I have been charged £18 for uncooked hard chips and overcooked batter with no fish inside. If they had not closed as soon as I left I would have taken it back. This is more than appalling and verging on what I would describe as fraudulent. Many have given reviews about the soggy batter but to give a lump of it with no fish inside is disgraceful. I shall be speaking to my lawyers about compensation. Horrified! Unacceptable and highly illegal.
