Winyards Gap Inn

We dined here today, during 31 degree heat, after dining on two previous occasions, R (coeliac) had the Pork Belly and I ordered a couple of small plates (Mozzarella Burrata, Chorizo bites, Warm Bread + Butter) , and a couple of local ciders. As always, the lovely blonde manager was warm and accommodating to us as walk ins. The dining room wasn't full as most guests were outside soaking up the sun. The dining room fitout and decor is the best we have experienced since moving here. With this unprecedented heat I would have loved a fan, but understand that isn't common. Every dish was cooked perfectly, plating is thoughtful and a pleasure to see and eat. Overall, every experience has been delightful. Ample parking on site, lovely menu and dining areas, good facilities, good understanding of GF requirements. Look forward to enjoying more of their menu in the future. (Love to see some background music introduced to the beer garden.)

Had a lovely surprise lunch from my husband on our wedding anniversary today. Lovely location with nice friendly staff. Pub looks nice and modern and clean, but we ate outside as it was a warm day. Food was tasty and even had wheat and gluten free bread . Would definitely come back.
