It's extremely rare for me to rate a restaurant as one star because I know how hard it is to run a restaurant. Disappointing first experience here. At first, I was excited that they have a lunch menu, with options for bulgolgi, spicy pork, etc. Unlike a Korean meal, it came with 2 extremely tiny dumplings (I have never seen smaller), a bowl of white rice and nothing else. No banchan (traditional side dishes), no kimchi, no miso soup. The pork was sitting in a puddle of gooey spicy sauce more reminiscent of Cantonese cooking than Korean. Maybe that's why they call it "Fusion". There were a few slivers of onions mixed in. Downright unappetizing, and definitely not real Korean. Honestly, you can get way better food with a larger quantity for cheaper at the HMart food court. The fact that it cost $13 for such a pitiful meal was a travesty. I will not be returning, even though waitress recommended the bibimbap for next time. Oh, and if you get gluten-free anything, there is a $2 surcharge! We buy gluten-free soy sauce and it does not cost $2 for the small amount you would use to make a little plate of bulgogi. Honestly, it's insulting to people who eat gluten-free.
