World Blend Coffee - Ice Cream - Ship & Copy

Everything a coffee shop should be. Cozy, no blaring music, no glaring lights, comfortable seating and great coffee. I was happy to see they had gluten free options as well. What a nice oasis.

The morning we went in there was one staff member making drinks and one staff member addressing food orders. The drink individual was making drinks as they were ordered which meant we spent 10-15+ minutes in line waiting to order. The food person was backed up so our muffins came out 5+ minutes after our drinks (we were getting ready to make sure they hadn’t forgotten). I had the gluten free banana muffin and would not recommend it. My snickerdoodle latte was so sweet I only drank half. My daughters enjoyed their cookie and poppy seed muffin. The place was a little disorganized in that the only table that would seat us (4 people) had a case of bottle water on top of it that we had to move, and then needed to wipe down because it was either leaking or defrosting. (We had asked what we should do with it and they asked us to move it to another open table instead of taking care of it themselves, which led to it becoming another customers problem). There were unpacked boxes up near the cash register instead of in a back room somewhere. While I do not have a desire to return it’s worth noting the interactions between staff and “the regulars” was charming and nice to see. So while this spot wasn’t for me, it is for some. You’ll have to try it for yourself :)

Stopped in here today when I was looking for a local coffee shop to work. I am so happy I did. The coffee was excellent and the service was friendly and welcoming which was so refreshing. It really made it feel like a small town coffee shop where the business actually cares that you have a good experience. That showed in every aspect of my visit. I was there for several hours and saw the same level of service with each and every customer that came in - with both regulars and new customers like me. To top it all off, their gluten free blueberry muffin was wonderful! Heated perfectly and was so fresh. Do yourself a favor and skip all of the chain coffee shops in the area and check out this place. I will definitely be back next time I’m in the area!
