We are here for a team dinner after a tournament. The downside was the long wait times and the dim lighting. Also, 3 of us ordered Medium temp burgers, and all 3 of us received rare. But on the upside, the wait staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. They even brought us cheese curds because we had to wait so long to be seated. Overall, it was just an ok experience.
If you want more details:
There were about 13 of us. We got there at around 5pm, so I guess we hit the dinner rush. We waited for at least 30 mins to get a table. The servers were very friendly and they brought a few orders of complimentary cheese curds to make up for the wait time. They took our orders in a timely manner, but it took about 45 mins for us to get our food. I ordered a medium burger with sweet potato fries. The food was delicious. My burger was a bit more rare than I preferred, but I ate it just fine. My husband would've loved it. The sweet potato fries were nice and crispy and had good flavor. The lighting was very low. There were candles at the table giving some light, but the overhead lights were dimmed quite a bit.
Paying for the check was odd, but it could've been due to the large size of our group. They programmed our orders into a handheld machine and we just passed it around the table. I wanted to pay for 2 orders but there wasn't a great way to do that without having to call over the waitress. So it was a little inconvenient to swipe my card twice.
I think we ended up being there for 3 hours. I would rather not be at a restaurant for that long. Overall though, they had a great food menu and an expansive drink menu. They had a few gluten free options too. The "GF Bun" for the burger is just 2 pieces of GF bread. I didn't order it, but my friend said it was pretty good. I would be interested to try this place again at a time that isn't so busy.
