We celebrated our 49th Wedding Anniversary at the restaurant. We had not been there for a few years but once agin were not disappointed with the menu choices (she is a Coeliac) and wine selections. Michael very capably provided an excellent level of service we had come to expect. Superb!
We visited today and were very disappointed with the coffe and cake. The gluten free cake was recommended by the owner/manager and we found it to not be what he has said it was. It was like eating a big lump of sugar. Likewise with the carrot cake which didn’t even taste like carrot cake at all but rather like a fruit cake. When we asked to speak to the manager to provide some feedback we were fobbed off by the waitress who told us he wasn’t available and she simply walked away. We won’t be here visiting again...
