Fabulous place. Our waiter was friendly and professional, he was super nice about all my dietary restrictions (GF, DF, no eggs) and carefully explained the menu and what they could do. The best gluten free pasta I've ever had by a mile. Glorious! And lovely wine list!

We had delicious pizza (Mushroom and Matteo’s) and tempranillo. The service was prompt and friendly, and the gluten free bases were tasty and not a compromise on texture. Recommended!

My go to place for lunch in highett….large range of vegetarian options and each one is equally good. Loaded fries are too yumm. Burgers do come with an option for gluten free and beetroot buns as well. The staff is generous. The quality and hospitality are commendable. Great deal of work done with efficiency and the delivery is quick too….highley recommended

Really delicious vegetarian and vegan options and everything is gluten free! I found it was really tasty and a bit more interesting and authentic than what I see on a regular Aussie Mexican dining menu. Definitely eating here again!

Wouldn’t suggest this cafe for anyone with dietary requirements, as they couldn’t be less accommodating. Booked a table here for Mother’s Day and despite calling them ahead of time and the menu specifying they would adjust due to allergies they weren’t interested so had to grab some chips at the local milk bar instead. Please don’t label things GF if you are not willing to offer an alternative to ensure it is safe for those living with coeliac disease. Best to mark it as low gluten option e.g Gluten free bread cooked in a toaster with gluten is no longer gluten free. It’s not that complicated. I did suggest using a clean pan to cook it instead but felt the chef had labelled it as too hard basket and was told they won’t serve me. Hopefully you don’t behave this way with someone that has a nut allergy too. Very disappointing experience. EDIT: And that response reaffirms exactly how I was treated. The poor waitress was left to be the piggy in between the manager and chef and no conversations held directly with me. You may have seen the other reviews referring to the rudeness experienced in your cafe and perhaps this was related to management too. I am clearly not the first and am certain now that I will not be the last. Happy to spread the word.

Had dinner in The Kitchen last night. We had an amazing waiter who was thoughtful and went above and beyond for us. I ordered some gluten free pita bread and didn’t even think to ask if the Saganaki was also gluten free. When our Saganaki was brought out our waiter informed us that a gluten free one was on its way. Such a small but thoughtful gesture I really appreciated. We also had two toddlers with us and during a toddler meltdown brought over a soft serve for each of them that stopped the tantrums and allowed us to eat our dinner stress free. Thank you again for such wonderful service, we will definitely return!

Typhoon is our happy place - WE LOVE IT! The staff are so friendly and attentive, they go out of their way to make our experience enjoyable every time. The food is consistently excellent - it is especially good for people with gluten allergies (like us). The vibes are always good at Hawker Bar next door as well. Would highly recommend ❤️❤️❤️

We had a great experience when we visited Kick'inn for the first time. Service was quick, staff were lovely and food was fresh and tasty. So many gluten free options which made it so much easier for me to order what I wanted. Loved choosing our own seafood and the novelty of eating with hands off the table added to the experience.
