We went here after reading google reviews. We were travelling through on our way to Banff. The food was amazing. Big portions. Friendly staff. Good gluten free options. We stopped here again on our return trip.

Hands down the best gluten free pizza I’ve ever ordered. A huge selling point for me is that they make their own gluten-free crust in house so you can get a gluten-free pizza of any size. Was so happy when a location opened downtown because it’s near my work and my house is now within the delivery range!!!

We had an unforgettable evening at Maurya’s Restaurant during our Russian-Ukrainian girls’ night out—we were treated like Hollywood stars! The incredible quiet atmosphere was such a highlight— a place where you can talk to your whole table without having to shout. The FANTASTIC cocktails were stunning, both in flavor and presentation, and they also made zero-proof drinks for those of us not drinking alcohol. The best drinks in Kamloops 100%. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate all our food concerns, making everything zero spicy, gluten-free, and absolutely delicious. The service was exceptional and made us feel so special all night. Maurya’s is truly a gem in Kamloops—a perfect blend of elegance, comfort, and top-notch hospitality. Highly recommend!

My family and I have been coming to Hoja Mongolian grill since they opened in Kamloops. This has always been one of our favorite places to go. The serving staff is always polite and the guys at the grill are amazingly funny. They are friendly and will chat with customers while they wait if they have a chance to. What's really fun is watching them make your food. It's an experience for first time people, but it doesn't get less enjoyable as time goes by. The best part of the whole thing is that it's all you can eat and there is something for every diet type. You want high protein, do it. You want vegetarian, go for it. You want gluten free, they got you. Hell even the keto nuts can have a heyday. It's great for families too!! Our 2 year old loves it and eats because she gets to pick her food. Which is awesome for her and for us especially if she's being fussy she can just have one thing. The prices are pretty good given that it's an all you can eat buffet. And they have take out as well. Which is awesome if you don't finish your plate you can take it home for a fee. Which most all you can eat places don't do. All in all my favourite place to go eat. Maybe it can be yours too.

March 13 2024 at around 10pm I showed up to Dennys in Kamloops on Columbia. I usually avoid Dennys because I find they are overpriced and dont offer gluten free food in a simple manner. It seems that they have a lot of gluten free upgrades. Like fake meat patties, and English muffins... The previous time that I've been to a Dennys, I can honestly say I've had one of the worst natchos (different branch). The cheese was a sauce, without a good vegetable selection. And not moist and overall appealing. However they do put meat in it without charging extra. Well, since the server didn't seem inclined on helping me with my dietary restrictions, and there seemed to be only around 3 items that didn't require upgrades to become gluten free. I still went for the natchos, because 2 eggs isn't enough... The natchos were filling, but no surprise for taste and quality. I was also a bit frustrated to see a plate on the kitchen counter left unattended for about 3-5 minutes before my server grabbed it, added sour cream, and brought it to me. I'm sure the kitchen staff are doing exactly what they are told. But, Dennys can learn from just about anybody on how to improve their natchos, service, and pricing. The only reason that I didn't give a lower rating is due to friendly service, and 24/7 hours of operation. The Dennys site that I saw from google maps did not mention cash as an option? Are they supporting the agenda of a cashless society too?

Frick & Frack recently catered a school function for my son, and provided a taco buffet, complete with two kinds of meat, toppings and salads. There were vegetarian/vegan/gluten free options and everything was absolutely delicious! Would highly recommend!

I googled who had the best baked potatoes, Kelly O'Bryan came up first!! Excellent food and a very attentive server! We had appetizers & drinks. They also offer several gluten free dishes in appetizers and entrees, very important!

We had an absolutely amazing dinner! As something with Celiac Disease, the staff were super conscious and caring. Even bring out a appropriate palate cleanser instead of the gluten version. Thank you so much!!!!!

Oh my god, what a fantastic local restaurant! We came for brunch (party of five) on a holiday Monday. We were immediately greeted by a smiling happy employee, and directed to a table. The menu had an excellent selection of old favourites, so everyone was able to order something great. With the choice of gluten free bread, my daughter was able to order a full breakfast. We ended up with three breakfasts and two burgers (one being the daily special). When the food arrived we were all impressed by the presentation and portions. No one was going home hungry today 😋 I can't say enough about the service we recieved. It was soup to nuts excellent without ANY snags. Our waitress/hostess did her job seemingly without effort, while keeping everyone in the restaurant happy. The decor reminded me of happy memories, while being modern and up to date enough so as not to seem dated. So, did we have a good time and eat some great food? Yes. Will we be back? Yes. Will we be recommending Kirsten's to our friends? Yes. Will we be recommending Kirsten's to our enemies? No, they don't deserve it.

Our pit stop from the Island to Calgary, we stayed at the plaza downtown another review I should make as the two gentlemen at the front desk were incredibly helpful, old hotel but super cool and clean! Anyway back to the pizza review, looking for a vegan place to eat and Pi Pizza was a walkable destination …. I have never tasted such a great vegan and gluten pizza ever, truly mind blowing anyone Vegan or not should try this. 🤤 My mother had a classic Hawaiian pizza, she said it was as good as Paul’s pizza. Any Albertan would know that is a hard pizza to measure up too. Was friendly and accommodating as well will definitely get pizza again on my next visit.

Went to this restaurant while spending time in the RIH. Kam, our server was amazing and made sure I had everything I needed to be comfy. Atmosphere is relaxing and music is quite enough to have a lovely conversation. The food is amazing!! Flavourful, fresh and just the right amount of spice if you follow the servers advice about which one will suit you. Haven’t had coconut rice in a long time And it was super yummy. Go and enjoy - you won’t be disappointed. Also, super gluten-free options.

The ambience was very nice, we had a Tatami room and it was lovely and the service was super. The food was also amazing. I have a severe gluten allergy and I had NO concerns, I was totally confident the food was prepared safely. Thank you for a nice evening meal while travelling through Kamloops. ( parking is also free for 2 hours while eating here - a nice little bonus ).

Such a cute bistro! The food was phenomenal, the staff were so kind, and the atmosphere was very cozy. They had gluten free bread and tons of options for milk alternatives. We got breakfast here and really enjoyed it - the pancakes were particularly fantastic (served with mascarpone & fresh fruit), and the bacon and caramelized onion eggs benedict was so tasty. The food was so good that we ordered a few more drinks to take with us on the road! Definitely try their London fog & house-made iced tea. ☕

Friendly staff, excellent food. My favourite dish is the Singapore Vermicelli Noodle dish, as a celiac person, this mix between rice noodles and curry are delicious. I could eat it everyday !!

Five stars for this incredible restaurant! The service was wonderful and the food of course was amazing. If you eat gluten free they’re super accommodating and are able to do any of the pastas with brown rice noodles!

Will DEFINITELY be back! Amazingly good food. We had the Jhinga Masala and Butter Chicken, and I had chai and garlic naan, my husband had mango lassi. My husband has Celiac disease and they were happy to accommodate, letting us know the things that were gluten free (which was almost everything). The food was absolutely incredible, perfect amount of spice (medium), and good portion sizes. Our server, Sasi, was so polite and happy to help. Food was fast and reasonably priced. The interior of the restaurant was quite nice!

Very good food. Lovely flavours and fresh. We had several dosa and a couple curries and enjoyed everything. All the staff we spoke with were friendly and very helpful. The menu is very clear about gluten and dairy free items which was very helpful for our family. We will absolutely be back again!
