So, so happy to have discovered the cozy corner cafe. We're not locals but will definitely be coming back anytime we're in Taupo. This place is a gem and a rare find! Most cafes offer gluten-free, vegan etc as one or two options on their menu as an added consideration for those with dietary requirements. This place caters to virtually every dietary requirement as the basis of their menu, whilst still offering what you'd expect from any cafe. The food is delicious, as well as great coffee. Super highly recommended! I wish there were more cafes around like this

Went here for mums birthday lunch, everyone's food came out luke warm. My pizza was lacking flavour, it was the tofu one. It was very bland. The calamari my sister got the gluten free version and it was small for the price and lacking flavour. Mums seafood chowder was yummy but not hot and someone else got a cherizo breakfast special that was great value and yummy. They have a huge menu with heaps of gluten free options which is great. The waitress was lovely and very tentative to our table. Would probably go back but would ask for the meal to be hot and wouldn't get a gf pizza!

Stopped in for lunch on way home to Kapiti. Very impressed by food and service. Grandson had American hotdogs and milkshake, daughter who is coeliac had a gluten free bagel and milkshake and I had a bagel and coffee. All tasted amazing. Very clean and tidy little Cafe. Bathroom was fresh and clean. A pleasure to stop here.
