Such a lovely visit on our way from glamping! Really good gluten free cooked breakfast and all the staff were amazing! Can only assume it was the manager/owner but she’s a gem of a lady, came over to check if it was an allergy or intolerance so my breakfast could be accommodated! Then came and had a chat to ask what our plans were and suggest Aber Falls to be the nicest waterfall which is truly was!! We’ve found a spot to visit each time we are in the area 100%!

We go out monthly for a breakfast, and this is the only cafe we have revisited. Warm, friendly, great decor and lovely staff. Big bonus for gluten free options. Noice.

A fantastic place to wind down after a busy week. The food is great and especially for me being coeliac would defo recommend to all gluten free peeps. The cocktails are great especially on the 2 for £10 offer.

Very disappointed tbh I've been looking forward to trying this place for a while. I put the order in on the website. There's no way of changing the order time and no way to order a gluten free kids burger, so I put a note on the order, then I also phoned up to ensure the messages about picking the order up half an hour later that automatically put, and that the kids burger needed to be gluten free. Oh yes. We got the message. That's absolutely fine, said the polite lady on the phone. I arrived a few minutes early at 5.41 said I was picking up the order, and he said Oh. You're a bit late. And pulled the order out of a just eat insulated bag. I said "The order was supposed to be for 5.45, I phoned up to make sure". He did say it would probably be ok and offer to redo it all, but the reason for getting take away at that specific time was because I had to go out, so redoing it all wouldn't have been possible. I then mentioned about my son's gluten free burger. He hadn't seen the message about that either (said something about doing several orders at once) so my son couldn't have his burger as he'd ran out of Gluten free buns at 5.15pm.. Again, I was given the option of a refund for my son's burger or to wait which wasn't an option. If the burgers had been amazing, it wouldn't have been so bad, but for almost £43 they really weren't great at all. Shame because I'm desperate to find a nice local place to support that does gluten free food. We used to get take outs at least once a week.

Great atmosphere, great food and friendly service. Our cocker spaniel puppy was welcomed and my gluten allergy was catered for with no issues. Will definitely come again when we’re next in Wales.

Me and my mum went for a meal here recently. The atmosphere when we came in was absolutely lovely. Throughout the night we were amazingly looked after by all of the staff. You can really tell this is an authentically ran family restaurant. We shared a couple of dishes as our main and everything from the seafood to the meat was incredible. I’m allergic to gluten and the gluten free options were both plentiful and tasted amazing. Had a lovely chat with one of the floor staff and despite being fully booked and busy they made the experience feel genuine and personal. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Had to wait 40 mins for the meal but we did go in at lunch time so not to bad, food was ok. The service was amazing, even more so as our son has gluten,milk and soya allergies. They made a good effort to cater at a busy time.
