Pho Cheltenham offers a brilliant setting in a lovely location, perfect for a relaxed dining experience.
The food is consistently praised as brilliant, fresh, and packed with flavor, with great portion sizes and speedy service.
A standout feature is that about 98% of the menu is gluten free, making it an excellent choice for coeliac diners. The restaurant is accredited by Coeliac UK and staff are knowledgeable and proactive about allergies, ensuring a safe and worry-free experience for those with gluten intolerance, including children.
The menu includes a wide variety of Vietnamese dishes like pho, curries, the amazing rice bowls, and fresh rolls, with many vegan and dairy-free options as well.
I would highly recommend Pho Cheltenham for its delicious, healthy food, excellent service, and outstanding gluten-free options.
A hidden gem with a welcoming vibe, offering a great variety of options and generous portions that keep visitors coming back for more.

Lovely gluten free brownie and a delicious ginger drink. Brownie was one of the best I have had - lovely and gooey. I have marked down though as the gluten free food was alongside gluten containing food and my daughter, who is a severe coeliac was worried about cross contamination and so was unable to eat there. Menu had lots of lovely sounding options for lunch. Would like to see gluten free cakes on top shelf, in a separate cabinet or covered with glass domes to avoid the risk of cross contamination. Also not sure if there were separate utensils for gluten free food or not - if there were then great but if not perhaps have different colour utensils in a separate container to avoid cross contamination. Great service and lovely cafe.
A vibrant spot with a vast menu that caters to various dietary preferences, ensuring tasty options for everyone in a chill atmosphere.

I love it when independent cafes get it right. Really nice staff who clearly care about their customers. The cakes and pastries are incredible and lots of gluten free options. Highly recommend.

We cannot rate this place highly enough, the staff are amazing, the food is fantastic, and for someone who is gluten free, it is food heaven! Thanks again for another wonderful evening.
This bustling spot is a must-visit for its great selection of fried goodies, though it may not cater much to vegan preferences.

3 out of 4 meals of fish and chips were very good. The gluten free fish was inedible batter hard and fish dry. This meant my husband who is coeliac only had chips! We are very disappointed as we have had delicious gluten free fish from this restaurant in the past
We would not be confident to have gluten free food from this restaurant again.
Great spot for family gatherings with a variety of options, ensuring everyone leaves happy and satisfied after a delightful meal.

Superb chain restaurant for our party - one of whom needed gluten-free and another FODMAP-friendly foods. Lovely smiley waiting staff, helpful and attentive service, and delicious French-style dinner. Very happy! It was my parents' first time ever at a Côte (?!) and they had such a good experience, they're keen to repeat the experience at another branch soon.
Known for its inviting atmosphere and great variety, this spot offers a delightful mix of flavors sure to please everyone.

Overall I enjoyed my meal here.
- The food was tasty.
- Service was average.
- Gluten free options available but told they were small.
I ordered a beer and a pizza with 3 different meat toppings. I enjoyed my food. Wait times seemed to be average for waiting for food and to get the bill at the end. I would have preferred to pay via a website or prior just so I don't have to flag down the waiter at the end of the meal.
A note for those that are gluten free: My friend was told the gluten free pizza was a fixed size whereas the standard pizzas can be adjusted in size. They were also told that the size was disappointing and that they would most likely need to order more to be full. Based on the garlic bread my friend did order I would assume the server was being truthful as it was quite tiny. So there are gluten free options but the options aren't great themselves it seems.
A busy spot with a fantastic breakfast selection, great coffee, and large portions at affordable prices makes it a must-visit!

Visited 15 October 2023, reserved a table for 7 to celebrate a double birthday lunch. Great selection of food and good value, really pleasant atmosphere and staff were just lovely, kind and courteous. I booked this based on reviews from others and because they offered gluten free options. Will definitely visit again.
A cozy hidden gem with a great selection of drinks and treats, plus it's pet-friendly for a delightful hangout!

Lovely cafe doing excellent breakfast and lunch food, plus good coffee and cakes. We went both mornings of our stay in Cheltenham and weren't disappointed. It's clear why it's such a popular choice on Bath Road. It has an inviting atmosphere and, like a lot of places in the area, is dog and child friendly. It was great to see that meats are locally sourced and that there were even gluten free options on the menu. They've thought of everything here! Truly a 5* cafe.
Experience a cozy spot where every meal is crafted with care, making it perfect for those with specific dietary needs.

Uncomfortably cold visit. The heating in the coldest day of the year was broken.
We never have been so cold and uncomfortable. No worming to the customers on online booking that heating is out of order.
Also very poor choice of gluten free selection.
Very disappointed visit, which meant to be a birthday surprise.
Chill vibes and an awesome atmosphere make this spot perfect for gatherings, plus Japanese toilets add a fun twist!

Nagomi is such a lovely place to enjoy dinner! The food is unbelievable, we’ve been a couple of times now and can’t wait for our next visit. As is popular in the reviews - you really do have to try the fried chicken! Everything we’ve eaten there really has been outstanding though and the team work so hard and catered to a couple of us who are gluten free

Such a lovely atmosphere with dim lighting and sparkly lights. I had the lamb curry with rice and it was really good! My friend is gluten free and had some sticky chicken which wasn’t great to be honest. Had brownies for dessert which were gluten free with ice cream and they were lovely! There’s a meal offer they do for 2 people for about £25 each which looks really good and includes a variety of things as well as dessert.
Unexpected charm with delightful vibes, awesome service, and great prices—definitely outshining the big names around!

Does amazing gluten free options for my coeliac partner. Now just found out it delivers also! Amazing.

Wolfies did a fantastic job of catering for a large conference that we held at BPE. We ordered lunch catering for 50 people and breakfast rolls for 40 and the food was delicious, well labelled and arrived ahead of time! Thanks so much to Rachel and the team for taking our last minute booking - it was much appreciated by everyone. Fantastic that they were so mindful of our guests that were gluten free, vegetarian and no pork too!

The best gluten free fish and chips in Cheltenham! Terry and the team at the Norwood Fish Bar are friendly, welcoming and polite. I order gluten free fish and chips almost every week from there, I’ve tried them all locally and this is by far the best, they always accommodate special requests and phone orders and doesn’t charge a sky high fee for quality ingredients, I’ve heard customers travel from Gloucester and Stroud for these!

We stopped by before a show one evening recently for the first time and it was a real treat. We particularly enjoyed how the staff took the time to describe each dish as they served them. I’d recommend ordering a selection of Street Food items as a starter since their offerings are a bit different to what you might find in a standard curry house. Lots of vegan and gluten free options available too. Well recommended!
I have never been to a cheese restaurant but having visited Domaine 16 I realised I have been missing out! They offer cheese in most ways you think to have to it and I would highly recommend the Tartiflette. Comparable to those I've had in France and although it was rich it wasn't heavy. We even had room for the dark chocolate fondue afterwards which came with marshmallows, banana, poached pear and gluten free madalins. Absolutely delicious.
A stunning spot with an impressive variety of superb dishes and a delicious wine selection, making it a standout in the Cheltenham scene.

Our first visit to Sam’s and oh my – it definitely won’t be our last! The food is stunning. I’m gluten-free and vegetarian and eating out can be a pain but not at Sam’s. Tons of choice – all of it superb. My stand-out dish was the pistachio parfait – wowser!
Service was friendly and attentive, wine (I had the Viognier) delicious. Certain other Cheltenham restaurants need to up their game to compete, methinks. (Super unusual for me to be enjoying the food so much I forgot to photograph any of it!)
A vibrant new spot in Cheltenham, known for its lively atmosphere, but could improve with more diverse menu options for dietary needs.

I went to Bosco in November 22 as it's quite new in Cheltenham.
I arranged for a work meal at Bosco with 15 people. We pre ordered a couple of days in advance.
So there were a couple of issues prior to going, we had one person who was vegan, and they don't do an option for a vegan pizza using vegan cheese. So she bought her own cheese, and luckily Bosco were ok with using it and making it as she requested. Good that they did this but I feel they should have a vegan option as standard.
The 2nd one was that we had someone who was gluten free, he requested a gluten free base, which they didn't have.
So I had the arancini balls for starter and the Bosco pizza for main. I felt they were decent pizzas but maybe just missing something.
The atmosphere was good as it was packed.
I feel it is worth trying, and I would like to have given them 3.5 stars but it's not possible.
Great food, fantastic service!
This is what a restaurant should be like. The food is very, very good, the little 'extras' in terms of the amuse bouche, the palate cleansers, etc are just superb. But the service is the thing that stands out for us. Everything explained, positive genuine interest in how we are liking the meal. My daughter, who needs gluten free, was given special attention. So many restaurants could learn from the East India Café!! Fantastic! Keep it up!
