Staff super friendly and offers a wide choice on menu with gluten free and vegan options. Restaurant was clean and set up nicely. Service was good, food was fresh and very tasty. Only disappointing thing was vegan wines were pretty non existent which was a shame. Would love to revist.
A vibrant spot with a lovely decor and outdoor seating, offering a range of tasty options that leave everyone craving more!

Delighted to have a vegan option that wasn't chips - sweet potato soup, absolutely delicious! Gluten free options went down very well too. Great atmosphere, very clean and really friendly, helpful staff.
Charming spot with a lovely tea garden, cozy outdoor seating, and a menu full of options for all tastes, perfect for a peaceful retreat.

Lovely quaint spot to get a little bite to eat - mainly afternoon tea, cakes, sandwiches or jacket potato. They do some vegan and gluten free options too.
Seating is outside in a secluded little garden in the picturesque village of Cockington.
The staff are highly attentive, kind and efficient.
Dog friendly and child friendly.
The toilets are also done nicely.
Unfortunately plant milk is a 75p charge even for a cup of tea!!! So didn’t get a drink.
I will definitely be back though!

Stumbled upon Sven's Grill on Google when trying to find somewhere gluten free for me and my mum while we were in the area for a long weekend. To say we were thrilled to find an "all gluten free restaurant" is an understatement.
My favourite thing about it was when asking why they set up as all gluten free, the response was "our culture is for sharing" being gluten free is one thing that isolates you from the rest of a group when eating out. To feel that someone has catered to that was amazing!
Service was incredible, couldn't fault a single thing, so friendly, professional and polite.
Food was amazing! Big portions, which when trying to eat as much gluten free food as possible we practically rolled out of the restaurant :)
Great value for money also.
Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Love this place. We always make we come here when we visit Torquay. Found down behind fleet walk shopping centre.
The food is great, plenty of choice and also carers for gluten free. A great place for food, drinks and live music and their garden space is fantastic. Staff are brilliant. Would recommend to anyone

The food was delicious, and they had a great selection of gluten-free food, including burgers! The little play area for the kids was a lovely bonus. Nice relaxed atmosphere, and dog friendly too. Will definitely be coming back!
One of the best burgers we’ve had in a long time - unique flavor combinations (the shuffle truffle was our favorite, just swapped the blue cheese as I don’t like it) and best of all, they do gluten-free options; the patties are gf and they have decent gluten-free buns as well. They don’t mention this on the menu yet (but apparently plan on re-launching their menu to list all options), but I called them beforehand to confirm after reading a review here. The only downside is that you have to order fries separately, but it’s worth it ;) Definitely recommend!
A hidden gem with beautiful decor and a welcoming vibe, perfect for memorable gatherings and celebrations with friends and family.

Want to thank Babbacome bay cafe for hosting my baby shower yesterday. Me and mum are coeliac so eat gluten free, the rest of our party 'normal' haha... We all had gorgeous high tea yday ...was very well looked after, felt safe and had a really lovely time. The gluten free option was almost identical to the gluten version so we didn't feel like the odd ones out. Thanks everyone 😃 would highly recommend!
Enjoy a delightful atmosphere with exceptional service and memorable flavors, making it a special spot for any occasion.

We’ve had the pleasure of visiting the Elephant today and must say it was exquisite. From lovely service to amazing food, every mouthful was a pleasure. We have a severe gluten allergy and the staff couldn’t be more helpful in accommodating for our dietary requirement which made the visit even more special. We’re very grateful and can’t wait to come back again.
Expect beautifully cooked dishes made from fresh ingredients, with standout takeaway options that impress in flavor and quality.

I have not dinned in the restaurant yet, but had a gorgeous takeaway, gluten and Dairy free.
Only criticism was the second time getting a takeaway, the dahl was very watery.
Best I have had in Torquay

The super friendly staff kept us well fed and watered for the day while our kids were scuba diving.
We ended up having breakfast, lunch and ice creams!
Gluten free brioche rolls available which were great.
Delicious and coeliac friendly. As always the food was delicious. We went for the two course with wine set evening menu. I was given informed choices regarding which options were gluten free and even got given an extra salad instead of the chips which are cooked in a shared fryer. I have never been glutened at either Bianco's or Amicis which is part of the same family business. The house white was delicious too.
Great ambiance with live music, delicious antipasto, and satisfying desserts make for a memorable dining experience that's worth a visit!

Absolutely great, firstly we were greeted by lovely friendly staff, we were seated and had the menu explained, I’m a gluten free vegetarian, my sister-in-law is also gf.
We were then served drinks whilst we made up our minds.
The veggie antipasto was so nice I could barely eat my pizza! To be fair the antipasto was for two, my husband and his sister had calamari which they said was delicious, so they weren’t much help with mine!
Their mains were equally delicious. The three of us were stuffed, but we just had to try a dessert, two of us shared as we were very satisfied already! A delicious crumble with clotted cream. 😋
I had the rest of my pizza boxed, that’s my dinner tomorrow sorted! 😋
I almost forgot to mention the live music, they were great too, all together a great experience, well worth a visit, 5⭐️ everything. Thank you. 😁
Absolutely outstanding service. Had great time and good meal that was really nicely seasoned. One of us had non fish food and it was also very nice. I had gluten free bread that was also nice. Shame was that the chips i had was undercooked and almost raw, i didn't eat them. There was very little of them and it wouldn't be so hard to fill up the bowl so it doesn't look empty. And didn't have dessert as the choice was small and seemed without much effort (strawberries and clotted cream or ice cream?). Overall atmosphere was though very nice. Small and cosy restaurant.

Banging Thai. Partner is vegan and gluten free and they were great at accommodating her. The ‘Thai spicy’ is thankfully spicy. Asked for some cutlery and they sorted us out some wooden spoons and forks which was lovely.
We had veg massaman, Thai red, stir fry with Thai ginger veg (amazing!), and I had chicken satay which were surprisingly delicious considering I forgot I had them and ate them cold.
Lovely people, really sweet and nice both over the phone and in person.
A cool stop for cyclists with tasty takeaways, including some nice surprises like vegan options and a sweet treat with your drink.

Stopped for a coffee mid-cycle ride. Hadn't looked at the menu before ordering, so at first it seemed expensive (£3+ for takeaway latte).
However, then found that it came with a cookie/flapjack. Further unexpected bonus that a gluten free crimble was available.
Didn't order food, but quite impressed that a outlet like this had multiple vegan and gluten free options
