The envirinment is well past it's best and interior tables are too close together for comfort. The toilets badly need refurbishing and the water is cold.
They don't cater to gluten intolerance - there's only a single fryer for all food and no gluten free alternative to gluten containing items like sausages. They do offer a GF bread but it's cheap.

What a great find, lovely barn converted to a tea room, had an amazing salad for lunch, lots of drinks, hot and cold to chose from, waiter was very friendly, attentive but not intrusive, cakes were lovely and the fact that most of them were gluten free was a bonus, on site dogs were great, hoping for a ball throw in the field, amazing outlook, lovely place for breakfast/ lunch/ afternoon tea, will definitely visit again ,well doneđ

Lovely venue with a real log fire and cosy comfortable seating. Everyone else in the party I was part of really enjoyed their meal, including my coeliac husband, but I was rather disappointed as there was only one vegetarian main which was not overly exciting so I ended up with a starter and a side. What I had was nice but more variety for those of us who don't eat meat would have been better and would probably encourage more veggies to dine here.
