Great little cafe with relaxing suntrap garden. Helpful and friendly staff. Most exciting though is the selection of gluten free and vegan cakes. We had the GF almond pistachio cake & vegan citrus cake - both were moist and tasty! Coffee was lovely with lots of plant milk options.
Located by the sea, this vibrant spot offers fresh oysters and a lively atmosphere, perfect for enjoying an evening outside.

A delightful sea food eaterie. Nice themed seaside canteen. I was over the moon to find this restaurant and be able to order gluten free battered fish and chips. After enquiring in every other fish and chip restaurant along the sea front and high street, this was the only place to offer gluten free battered fish (other places only offer plain grilled fish). They have an entirely separate fat fryer for gluten free options which indicates an understanding of gluten allergies. The fish was superb. The sea view made the whole dining experience complete. It's online ordering via a QR code on the table, and payment is made upon ordering. The prices are fair and absolutely worth it. The staff are clearly busy and yet friendly. This is a gem of a venue on the sea front.
Expect warm, generous portions of comfort food in a cozy spot with a heartwarming atmosphere and reasonable prices—worth the visit!

Gluten free level: expert.
They have gluten free bread and they have special gluten free big fry up breakfast all day. I ate their gluten free halloumi salad with baked vegetables. It was nice and warm. It was a huge portion as well. It's definitely worth a visit if you want some definitely gluten free food.
Disclosure: the place doesn't look fancy but the ladies at the counter were lovely. It is a good old fashioned breakfast and lunch coffee. Their prices are reasonable especially for Whitstable.
Charming spot with a fun bear pun menu, beautiful ambiance, and a relaxing vibe that invites you to linger and enjoy great conversations.

This is such a gem! They have vegan and gluten-free options and everything is delicious. The food takes a little while to come but is SO worth the wait and the surrounds are beautiful to just sit and chat. Not to be rushed!
Has one gender-neutral toilet and baby-changing facilities.

Hen do meal and wow I was blown away with the food, service and staff. Particularly as one of our party was gluten intolerant, the staff were very knowledgeable about the condition and advised on the menu accordingly.

Bacon butties all round, 1 gluten free. Perfectly cooked bacon and lots of it! Great coffee (as confirmed by veteran coffee drinkers). Great chat with the owner and he very kindly gave me a vegan Gf flapjack which was, without doubt, the best flapjack I've eaten! And you can write on the wall. Highly recommended.
