I have loved the Village Grind for many years. The coffee, the menu items, the atmosphere and the people never disappoint! Today, my teenage daughter and I stopped in to sit for a quick coffee between errands and learned that the Village Grind has delicious Gluten Free treats as well! My daughter is GF and though we didn't see anything in the case, when we asked, the barrista gave a run down of several treats that available as options - today she had the GF cinnamon coffee cake. She said it was delicious! She can't wait to try the other treats!!

Anchorbar has the best wings in the area. The original location is in Buffalo,NY and this location tastes exactly like the original. My husband also had a gluten allergy and their wings are gluten free by default. My favorite sauce is the chipotle BBQ. Food was fantastic and our server, Alex P was absolutely amazing! It was a busy Friday night on Mother’s Day weekend but he was very attentive and checked in often. My husband has a gluten allergy and ordered from the gluten free menu and didn’t realize they have versions with gluten of the same dishes on the normal menu so he didn’t realize he needed to specify for the GF version when ordering. He didn’t realize he had eaten gluten until after he finished the meal and we asked for a gf desert option. It was an unfortunate mistake on my husband’s part for not checking. The hostess had given him the gf menu right when we sat down, so I don’t think the server knew he even had the gf menu, or I’m sure he would have checked. Once we all realized, The manager came out to check on him and offered a free GF entree for our next visit. Despite this mistake, our meal was great, service was great, atmosphere was great. We will be back again, and hopefully Alex P will be working that night as well.

A word of warning: the tenders without the sauce are just alright. You NEED the sauce! I'm also a huge fan of the garlic bread that comes with the combo meal.
One hidden menu item that is underrated is naked tenders. They still season the tenders, then deep fry them with no breading. Even without the breading, the flavor of the chicken is still there. It's surprisingly good, and it obviously helps for those folks with sensitivity to gluten, or those trying to cut down on carbs.

This food is AMAZING!!! The employees are so nice and help with everything!! Everything is made with care and they always give generous amounts!! The owners also sometimes give out free samples to people and are very nice people, If you have not tried this place, I recommend coming down and supporting this local buisness, it's a great addition to the oswego area! The food is amazing and delicious, my personal favorites are the mac and cheese and sausages, and the brisket!! But everything is delicious;))
