Man, oh man! When I tell you this was the best, most satisfying meal I had on our entire 4 day road trip, it’s the truth! I love a good unassuming diner that serves up great food. We stopped in for brunch, and got there about 30 minutes before close. Breanna was our server and was super helpful with my gluten / dairy free needs; I originally planned to order the gluten free French toast but she informed me it was made with milk and advised I order the plain GF toast instead. I was fine with that and asked for no butter, and she went out of her way to find out that the butter was actually canola based and dairy free so I got to indulge in some yummy, “buttery” GF toast! The food came out quick, hot, and delicious. I love a good classic breakfast. What a pleasant surprise!! The only downside of my experience is that I live 7.5 hours away and will be dreaming of eating breakfast here until I get to return one day. Thank you, the Special Restaurant!!

Placed an online order through the app needing the entire order to be gluten free. The manager assured me of their protocols when I picked up my order. I find this location to be safe for people with celiac disease and will eat here again.

Got delivery last night and it was perfect. The burrito is the size of my forearm (which is a great thing- plenty of food for the price) and they load on the veggies, which I appreciate. The loaded fries were fantastic- highly recommend trying the half cheddar sauce and half pepper jack sauce. The philly was on point and the chicken burrito (always my favorite) was hot and delicious. One of the few restaurants I trust enough to get as delivery because they never mess it up. Thank you for a yummy dinner! 😋 Side Note- this restaurant is also extremely accommodating if you have a gluten allergy. Just let them know and they'll wipe down the grill, change utensils for cooking and get new gloves!

I always have very good to excellent sushi & very good miso soup here. The place was a great find in an otherwise not impressive area. The restaurant staff have been very attentive to my orders, & pack the food extremely well. Portions are good. The menu has a good variety of options for even non-sushi lovers. I haven't heard anyone else say anything but great things about Umami. *Update* Today - another great meal from Umami. And excellent service. Again. The sushi was so fresh & well made, & the miso soup was spot on. They do it exactly as I ask for gluten-free & no sesame seeds. I have always had their food to go & they are fast, packaging it beautifully so cold is cold, and the soup is piping hot & so good. I tried a higher rated sushi place in the Omaha area but Umami quality has better miso soup & just as good & fresh sushi, & better prices. It's not fancy but it's nice for enjoying food with friends or solo.

Jersey Mike's has something for almost everyone! From gluten free to not having bread at all the variety goes on and on. My favorite thing about Jersey Mike's is that I could still have sandwiched while pregnant because they slice the meat fresh for every sandwich. I highly recommend getting the Italian sandwich Mike's way 😊

This is the only place I’ve found so far to have gluten free AND soy free as an option! They use coconut aminos - you just have to ask for it. I am so thankful to have this option! They are so kind and will do whenever is necessary to make things right for you. Definitely my go to place!

Went with a group and had pretty decent service. The place wasn't busy. They have a lot of gluten free options that are safe for Celiacs. They also have some vegetarian options from what I can remember.

Food is excellent and the menu has many options. One is to order a number of meats plus sides, choosing from lots of different cold salads and noodles. Bibimbap is excellent with fresh ingredients and a lively sauce with scallions in addition to the usual sauce. They made sure my friend's food was prepped gluten free (though no sauce, sadly). The eating area is small and unclear whether there is any restroom, so go prepared or get takeout. Definitely will try again.

We booked a table for my son's 19th birthday. We were in town visiting friends and I remembered the food being good in the past. It did not disapoint. Service was amazing and everyone was so happy. They had gluten free pasta for 2 of us too

I wish they had more celiac safe gluten free options like French toast or pancakes. It was okay dining here and I am grateful staff were aware of the cross contact with gluten. The food was okay, but nothing to bring me back to eat here again.

Love! This is a great place for some amazing takeout. Mine did spill a little in the bag, but it didn't really bother me. Just be careful with transportation. The staff is very knowledgeable about what can be made gluten free and is willing to talk you through any questions you have.

Nice to have a new Chinese style restaurant that serves Gluten-free options! First night jitters, so our food took a while, but they were absolutely slammed and still turning out fantastic dishes! I tried the Ta Chin chicken (gluten free) and it was a delicious and unique dish. Kind of a hot and sour sauce. Wife and daughter enjoyed the crab Rangoon and sweet and sour chicken, and chicken and mixed vegetables.. judging by how much was left (not much) I'd say that they enjoyed it!

Fantastic island food in the heart of Bellevue. I'm super Gluten sensitive (allergy not celiac) and the nice lady who runs it happily made a special batch of gluten free pancit for me! In the past she has even made special spam musumi for me as well. The Kailua Pork is awesome. My colleagues enjoyed their meals too.
