I love it here at Dolce Marie! Not only is the food and service and vibe great, but as someone who has celiac disease, I am extremely grateful for the gluten-free options!
I also love that they are willing to customize your order, for instance, I added not only an egg to my ricotta and spinach tartine, but avocado as well, and it was incredibly delicious! Highly recommend!
I have tried gluten free pizza elsewhere and decided that I'd actually rather give up eating pizza. By chance I was going to get a regular pizza at Ray's for someone else and when I saw gluten free on the menu thought, should I give it a try? I am so grateful that I did. It is genuinely delicious. My family tried it and they loved it too! Go figure. You don't even have to eat gluten free to appreciate this pizza. I'm truly thrilled so I felt compelled to write this because if you've given up on gluten free pizza you might want to give it just one more try.
If you love sushi and haven’t been here yet, GO! Umai is incredible. I can’t believe we have a sushi restaurant of this quality in Verona!
To make sure our gluten free versions were not mixed up with others, our 12pc omakase was served on one plate rather than one piece at a time, which I really appreciated. It’s a very safe environment for celiacs / gluten free folks, the owner knows what he’s doing and put a lot of care into safely preparing our food. 😍
The ambiance is great and the fish is out of this world. BYOB. $75pp for omakase is a great deal, all things considered - the fish is flown in from Japan, the quality and presentation is top notch, and the owner is clearly a very talented sushi chef.
Please add chirashi bowls to the lunch menu! How am I supposed to fulfill a craving for sushi at Nori or Kings when I know this place is open?!? 😆
