We had a good experience here. Our server was very friendly and helpful. The food we ordered was good. My son's pizza didn't have enough sauce but they remedied that. Individual pizzas were good as well. I appreciate the homemade dressings for salads and the gluten free pizza option. We would return to Maria's.
Unique vibes make this spot stand out, though the service could use a boost; prepare for a leisurely wait while you soak in the atmosphere.

It was such an interesting place. The pizza was great no doubt. Even their gluten free dough was good!
But our server was absolutely terrible. He forgot our drinks so we were sitting for over 20 minutes looking at him while he was on his phone.
Enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with standout service and unique dishes that keep visitors coming back for more!

Amazing gluten free options. The best meal in OIB. Ate at the bar, Sydney B - by far the best service inviting atmosphere and she makes the best bloody marys!
This place is overpriced for the food quality and atmosphere. Service was average. They would not seat our party of 10 in one table even though they had one next to us of 12. Food items ran out. 32 bucks a dozen oysters. They would not sub an item for a gluten allergy without begging. I had fish sandwich. Fried dry and tasted terrible. We had a filet steak that was good.
This place was delicious. Very fresh, they went out of there way to make a dish that was gluten free and vegetarian. It was mouth watering and a perfect place to eat after paddle boarding. The staff was great and cheerful. I would recommend that you try it out!!!
Discover a hidden gem at the beach with elevated, authentic Mexican flavors and homemade corn tortillas that make for perfect tacos.

We were pleasantly surprised to find Maya on our visit to the beach. The food was great, though not what you would expect from your typical NC Mexican restaurant. The options are a bit more elevated and authentic. They make their own corn tortillas, which resulted in a sturdy taco that didn’t break in you hand. We had the enchiladas and tacos al pastor. There are plenty of options for those GF (gluten free) /dairy free.
First timer and thought it was close to a NY bagel and for that I say thanks- only exception was having only 1 gluten free item - but all in due time I’m sure - the artwork was cool - we’ll be back
