Went here this evening with a friend visiting from out of town, and it was the perfect dinner. The atmosphere was subdued and comfortable – I’m autistic and have a hard time dining out because so many places are echoey and play loud music. This was very refreshing. The person who served the tableside guacamole was so welcoming and friendly without being intrusive, which is a hard balance – I waited tables and bartended for ten years, I get it – and even that small interaction was so pleasant.
The same goes for our server, Grace, who was also incredibly helpful and patient with recommendations (which I’m so glad I listened to – the lamb sliders were out of this world), very attentive, and just super cool.
My margarita was excellent (and I’m kind of a snob about those) and my friend had nothing but compliments for their mocktail. I love that they put so much care into non-alcoholic options.
Also, my friend is gluten intolerant and there were SO many good GF options. We shared the perfect appetizer with zero effort or pressure to compromise. It’s great to be in a place where people with dietary restrictions don’t have to feel like they’re making a scene, but we can just enjoy a good meal together.
Thanks for a great evening and the 11/10 service. I’ll definitely be back, and I might even try another dish, but seriously, idk how I will, because, again, those sliders… Whew.
With a cozy vibe full of plants and books, this spot offers a variety of coffee and unique treats, perfect for a laid-back hangout.

Lots of coffee options, delicious! This place has a lot of character from plants to books to the company there. There are gluten free pastry options. I had a piece of blueberry bread! It was alright, not the best I’ve had but definitely a fun treat. They also have lunch options.
The food was delicious! Cute atmosphere. They were able to accommodate my gluten free mod to the salmon Benedict. 😋 The hot chai was ok but not exceptional.
Cozy and flavorful, this spot is a must-visit for ramen lovers with its build-your-own bowl option and a welcoming vibe.

I have celiac and this place was fantastic! I haven't had such a good Gluten-free ramen in a long time! My kids devoured their meals as well. Definitely will be coming back.
My go to at The Cupboard is the veggie plate. I have eating restrictions (gluten free is one) that keep me from enjoying many of their menu items. However, I do remember how good those little cornbread muffins were when I could eat them years ago.
The Turnip greens are fresh and not bitter. Their beans and peas are cooked, not just warmed up from a can, but they are not cooked to mush.
The service is generally slow, but friendly. Be prepared to wait on your food, your check, and in the line at the cash register to pay.
During the summer you can pick up some fresh tomatoes near the register along with some jellies and honey.
Very good Indian restaurant. I love the okra dish. I love the Marsala's. The papadoms and chutneys are wonderful. The waiter helped us with gluten free options. You won't go wrong eating there. Staff very friendly and helpful.
