Cozy little restaurant, good food. My wife says the gluten free pizza crust is delicious. Will definitely come back when Iβm in town. Grateful that theyβre open all year.
Fresh and tasty tacos served outdoors with a lively atmosphere, a must-try spot that people love during their coastal adventures!

Super amazing tacos! Like many taco places, gluten free options were great. Almost everything could be gluten free on a corn tortilla. We got a mix of all the tacos and every one of them was great. Outdoor seating which in some seasons means tons of bug, but it wasn't bad for us in September. At first we felt guilty getting tacos in a coastal area (cause it's not seafood) but we think it's the best place we ate while on the Shore.
Great views, a fun playground for kids, and a lively outdoor space make this spot a chill hangout for families and friends alike.

Enjoyed my meal here, amazing peel and eat shrimp and the Chesapeake blend crab soup was delicious as well. The Bloody Mary was on point and service was fast and friendly. Great views both inside and out here and love that they also have a playground area for kids. The menu has a lot to choose from, including many #glutenfree options!
Expect a vibrant atmosphere with generous portions and attentive service, perfect for a memorable family dining experience.

Had a great dinner. Holiday meal with my husband. Lots of Gluten Free options for someone with celiac. A little pricy though. Our server Billy was wonderful.
An great pizza experience! Wood fired and very tasty. Best of all they make an amazing cauliflower crust that meets gluten-free free diets and the taste is the best Iβve ever had. The daily special pizza is always a good choice. The honey pepperoni is nice touch. The staff is super nice and greatly to talk to.
I was on the island for three days and ended up having dinner here on all those days. Their food is great! Gluten free friendly and you can adjust the spice levels. Would definitely go back!
A quirky spot with a homey vibe, offering generous portions and a local feel that keeps visitors coming back for more.

Its about a 50 minute drive from our vacation cabin near Crisfield, MD. We decided to go here over Assateague Crab House this trip (which is great) to try something new. It was early afternoon on a Sunday so only one or two other tables eating but the bar was full. We were a bit skeptical. Nobody at the front to seat us so my GF went into the bar and asked Bourbon Betty (real name) at the bar if we just take a seat. But by then someone had came from the back and over to seat us. I had not been here in at least 17 years. The place seemed a little run down but what the heck. We are here. The waitress turned out to be very good. She knew here menu very well and made some great recommendations. We had a person in our group with a Celiac decease (me) and another person (GF) with a seafood allergy. She was able to make recommendations for both. When the food came the steam pots huge but the biggest surprise was the steak for the person with the seafood allergy. A hand cut Delmonico steak that honestly was the best I have had in years. I only got a couple bites, as it was not my order, but I certainly would order it if I was there again. My parents got the trio which came with fried shrimp, oysters, and scallops. It was in-house light breaded, not frozen. They enjoyed it, but didn't care for the fried scallops. A scallop should be pan seared or grilled anyway in my opinion. But hey, that's what you ordered.
The steam pots came with a ton of food and they were fantastic. The sweet tea was on point and I cannot say enough about he waitress. She even wrote down some info on local festivals, seafood shops, and other for us. Very pleasantly surprised and will go back next time there. Looking forward to it. I already know I am getting a steak, crab legs, and steamed shrimp! See you soon Steamers.
Tacos here are a hit, with customizable tortilla options and tasty fries, though double-check your order preferences just in case.

We ordered some tacos and they were delicious! We paired them with fries( slightly salted)I really appreciated being asked if I wanted my tacos with wheat or corn tortillas. I think that could help those looking for a gluten-free option. And honestly, I loved them. The only downside is that I asked the waitress for my order without onions, and despite seeing her take note, they ultimately arrived with onions. But overall, I was very happy.
Great seafood. Limited options for gluten free, unfortunately. My mom has celiac and I ordered the blackened cod and corn on the cob for her. She didn't get ill, which was great. I wish they had a separate frier for their fries, but my understanding is fries and breaded items are all fried in the same oil.
While vacationing on the cute, quaint and peaceful island of Chincoteague Island VA I decided on a bed & breakfast. Channel Bass inn. This was my first time at a B&B. The inn is clean and tastefully decorated. The grounds are beautiful with flowers every where. There is also a little pond with a bridge where the ducks come to cool off. The grounds are all shaded to beat
the heat and the sun. The meals prepared by the owner herself were delicious!! All freshly made. Fresh fruits, jams bagels, scones, eggs, coffee, tea large portions. She does a gluten free menu on request. The Inn is located downtown within walking distance to shopping, restaurants and waterfront. Chincoteague Island beach and wild pony reserve a short drive. Nice coffee shop on corner of Main St. Nice Ice cream parlor with many different flavors of ice cream a short walk. Very convenient location. The owners are very accommodating they make you feel like home. They are also pet friendly!!! Will definitely go back!! Loved it! πππ
"The rib meat falls of the bones." The common refrain for BBQ joints, but it's certainly true here. Reasonably priced slow-smoked meats which, if only accidentally rather than by design, also happens to be gluten free (not the cornbread, though).
My only critique is that I wish they had more choices when it came to the sauce. They have their own vinegar-based "red sauce" that they seem to put on everything, so if you less of the Carolinas and more of the Texas BBQ you're going to be out of luck.
With that said, this place is well worth the visit and is a gem that you might otherwise miss.
Watch out for the seagulls. The pesky critters have an eye out for your food and, if you're not careful, they'll swoop down and steal some food. One landed on my wife's head and stole some fries!
