Since I am now no longer able to eat gluten, I struggle to find restaurants where I can enjoy food the way it was intended (I.e. not having to request “no bun”, or any other special requests). I was very pleased to find out that they still offered a gluten free bun for burgers, as I have been heavily craving an actual burger. My burger was amazing, the fries were as good as they always are, my boyfriend loved his wings, and he also LOVED the selection of beers offered. After dinner, he said “We really need to eat there more often. I really enjoyed it.” 10/10 recommend! The staff is super friendly as well, and the atmosphere is very pleasant ☺️

Very good gluten free menu; good lunch specials as well; wait staff are personable and the owners frequently help out during busy times. Restaurant is conveniently located just off 221 with lots of parking.

I cannot say enough great things about this place. Service was 10/10, the owners were so very nice, the food was incredible. I have a gluten allergy and they went through the menu with me and showed me what was safe to me and in my experience, most places do not do that. One of the owners even came over to the table and showed us how to roll our chili potatoes in the bread and what to dip it in and it was SO GOOD. You will not be disappointed eating here! Great portions for a very affordable price. We will continue coming back! :)

Hands down our favorite restaurant in the Lynchburg / Forest area. The seafood is so so so so good! The dining room is quaint and the servers are all super friendly and personable. I highly recommend the cedar plank salmon, sauteed spinach, and house salad. My husband tends to get the ribery or porch chop with baked potatoes. I have a gluten allergy, and they always make sure I'm taken care of! The desserts are ALL freshly homemade by Mama Sue!!

I rarely write reviews but the vegan/gluten-free/soy-free cheesecake I got today was AMAZING! The woman at the counter walked me through all their allergen-friendly options and if I hadn't known, I would've thought it was a regular cheesecake. Thank you Simply Vanilla!!

As a Vietnamese born and raised, this place DID NOT DISAPPOINT. A must try place in Lynchburg for authentic Vietnamese cuisines with healthy and gluten-free options. Their Phở and Bánh Mì are my go-tos. I live almost 15 minutes away from their Forest location. I went to their Timberlake location for years UNTIL they sold it to a different owner, I must say, the foods quality over at Timberlake immediately went down. I don’t mind driving an extra 10 minutes to this location for a good Phở.

Great new place to hangout!! The food was fantastic and the house “Gunny’s sauce” is so good, I’ll be craving it for days! They even had options for gluten free people like myself. Staff is friendly and happy and the decor is very cute and cozy. Can’t wait to go back and try everything else!!
