I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Sugar Shack Donuts. I placed a pre-order for their gluten-free donut day to ensure my daughter, who has a gluten allergy, could enjoy some treats. On the morning of the scheduled pickup day, I called to let them know I’d be coming the next day instead and specifically asked if this was okay. They assured me it was fine.
However, when I arrived the next day to pick up the order, there were no donuts. My order had apparently been canceled because I didn’t pick it up the previous day—despite my phone call and the assurance that picking them up a day late wouldn’t be an issue.
My daughter was so excited about these donuts, and to see her disappointed was heartbreaking. This was completely avoidable with proper communication, but clearly, that’s lacking at this location. I expected better and won’t be returning.
