Great place with a lot of food variety. They even have gluten free bread, besides other food, and lots of vegan and vegetarian options. The drinks are also great. One star less for the atmosphere is because the tables are too close to each other and it is extremely noisy, had to speak really loud to be able to hear each other.

We just happened upon this lovely tapas place while looking for a place to eat in Amsterdam. I spoke to our server about gluten-free options and she told me most of the tapas and main meals could be made gluten-free. She also showed me the allergen list for all the foods - this was really helpful. However, the rice is not gluten free and the fries are not done in a dedicated fryer - stay away from them. In the end we had 3 tapas - asparagus with halloumi, lamb chops and keftes. They were delicious! I wish I could go back!

We had a WONDERFUL experience at Maydanoz. The menu was available in multiple languages and included icons for allergens (gluten, vegan, etc) in addition to pictures of each food item to help you make your choice. The main man running the show on our Wednesday evening was incredibly friendly and understood cross contamination well (he put my fries in the oven and not the fryer). I got gluten free bread too. The flavors were 10/10 and I felt completely safe.
