Fantastic service, coffee and sweets! From what I Could tell, most if not all were vegan/gluten free! The staff is extremely friendly and offered several free samples of Halva and a tea they offer. Also tried the pistachio bites, very delicious pairing with a coffee! Prices are pretty fair considering it’s Waikiki. Will return again!
Expect a delightful surprise with fresh salads and standout Alfredo that rivals the best in Italy, all in a cozy spot on O’ahu.

The server took a long time to get to us. And he had no personality. I ordered gluten-free pasta with sauce on the side and the pasta was burnt. And you could see the char marks on it. I don’t know why he served it to me that way. Anyways, he took it back and got me some new pasta. The salad is always good.
Delicious! Great vegetarian and gluten free options (I hope they try to make gluten free pita in the future!). Professional and friendly staff. Sit outside for a nice breeze.
Expect a charming atmosphere with beautifully crafted dishes, though be ready for some wait times and a higher price tag.

We are very impressed with the food at Mara. Everything we ordered was excellent (beet salad, oysters, octopus, fish Mediterranean style, fish Greek style, scallops, fire roasted eggplant, long beans, pavlova and gelato). So flavorful and yet light. The restaurant is lovely (bring a sweater). Parking is comped (good thing because it is very expensive). Service was a little uneven (but charming). Appetizers came out quickly, long wait for rest of the meal. Long wait for bill, too. Quite expensive but the food is worth every penny. PS they were very helpful in identifying the gluten free items on the menu — which are plentiful. (But double check, the waitstaff identified the chicken that comes with Bulgur as Gf. Bulgur is a wheat product.) Looking forward to dining here again.
Middle Eats is SO good! The falafel was so flavorful and the entire dish was delicious. The food is vegan and the falafel dish is gluten free sans the pita. Can’t wait to go back!
