The service is amazing, I've rarely met such friendly waiters. It's really fun to come here, the waiters exude Pura Vida. The food is super delicious and the smoothies are also highly recommended. When we travel, we are always looking for a restaurant where you can eat well gluten-free and which is suitable for people with celiac disease - this restaurant is perfect for that. They know their stuff very well and clean everything beforehand so that there is no cross-contamination. Highly recommended. Thank you dear team ✨🙏🏼🌮

Very good burritos and tacos! These are homemade and especially the spicy salsa is very tasty! Also good service (greetings to Mary). Thank you for having an extra gluten-free menu. Although they point out that it's not exclusively gluten-free cuisine, we didn't have any problems! Highly recommended!

One of my favorite options! You can tell that the ingredients are of good quality, great taste and freshness of the ingredients. It's practically the only restaurant I know where they offer fast food without it being greasy and upsetting to the stomach. I give them all the points for having a clearly marked ingredient bar. I have visited the place with friends who are intolerant to gluten or dairy and we have all been able to enjoy a pleasant time, which is hard to find! Highly recommended.

We went to Lola‘s with great anticipation, after having it highly recommended by other travelers. While the setting is absolutely stunning, and I would highly recommend going there for this alone, the service was just OK, and the food was just OK, and the ability to accommodate gluten-free was surprisingly limited. Most restaurants in Costa Rica we visited were very happy to accommodate gluten-free needs, already had their menus labeled for gluten-free dishes, readily understood how to navigate gluten issues, and were overall very eager to accommodate us. Lola’s however, seemed more concerned with telling us how gluten-free would make food “bad” even though we order similar dishes with the same modifications all the time, and how it was difficult for them to accommodate gluten-free needs. I understand that it can be difficult, but if you do a little training of your kitchen staff and your wait staff and read food labels for your ingredients, it’s really not that hard. Perhaps they have had particularly difficult customers that have made them not want to accommodate gluten-free needs, or perhaps their management or ownership just doesn’t care about this. So, unfortunately, if you’re gluten-free, go to the restaurant across the street, they are very eager and excited to accommodate gluten-free needs and have no problem navigating The challenges associated with this. Their view of the beach is not good there, but their staff are very friendly, and their food is excellent. Go to Lola‘s for the views, the beach chairs, the drinks (which were awesome!) and if you are not gluten-free, it’s a fine place to eat.

Had the best gluten free tortilla (handmade coconut tortilla) with the smoked pork and pineapple burrito. The 3 salsas/sauces they make are delicious! Highly recommended!

You call to see if they are gluten free, they say yes and after placing the order they arrive shortly after they have no knowledge of gluten free. What is that and what does it cause? They are not serious.

Really tasty food and good cocktails. Excellent birria and churros in particular. My wife is a coeliac. The staff were helpful and she was not poisoned, which is wonderful. The corn tacos are fine and very tasty. If we were here longer, we would go again.

We came in and asked if they could accommodate gluten free. Juan Carlos was amazing and assured I would be ok and I was. I had the fajitas and an amazing margarita. Juan’s service was outstanding!
