We had a wonderful dining experience! I have Celiac disease and our server was very good knowledgeable about gluten free options and avoiding cross contact. Not a standard Mexican restaurant by any means. Very family-run atmosphere, and the food is made from old family recipes. The quesedilla is the most flavorfuly exciting gluten-free thing I've eaten at any restaurant *ever*. The horchata and other drinks come in huge Ball glasses, making sure to satisfy your sweet tooth, and omg the plantains will do the same. This quickly became one of my favorite restaurants in Dayton after just one lunch, and I hope it will become the same for you!

My wife has developed a gluten allergy. She likes El Toro for the choices she has. I like El Toro, it has good Mexican cuisine and the staff is friendly. Honestly though, I would go there even if I didn't because it is one of the very few places where my wife can get something she actually wants that doesn't make her sick for three days.
