Recently had an incredibly tasty gluten-free and dairy-free dinner. It's usually a challenge to find such delicious meal options in Auckland. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I decided to try this place based on previous reviews and it definitely lived up to my expectations. Will definitely return!
Delicious large portion sizes and great value make this bustling spot a must-visit for a quick bite that won't keep you waiting long.

Gluten free options available. Food was delicious with a large portion size, great value. It was busy but we didn't have to wait long for our food to arrive at the table. Staff were all friendly and gave exceptional service.
Unique spot with a fantastic selection and the option to bring in your own catch for frying—definitely worth a visit!

Travelled down the north island with a coeliac this evening and found this place on the Coeliac New Zealand FB page. I phoned and we were told they have a separate area. Ordered and got two packages- one for the gluten folks and another for the coeliac. both were absolutely delicious and this place was super busy. it's a good hour from where we live but we'll be coming back up here for dinner. LOVE that this place is safe for coeliacs.
With a warm vibe, a spacious courtyard, and diverse offerings, it's a perfect pit stop for travelers needing a break and some relaxation.

I really enjoyed the Greek salad which was made gluten free for me. It was fresh and delicious with big green olives and creamy feta. Thank you Brown Sugar!

I'm a coeliac so it is so nice to be able to get gluten free fish and chips, cooked in a separate fryer for gluten free items. I enjoy it very much. It is reasonably priced
A must-visit spot featuring unique dishes, delightful drinks, and a charming store that’ll brighten your day.

Fabulous café & staff! Opens at 8am. Our favorite stop when we are heading north as it's a bit tricky (but not impossible) when heading south because there's no pull off lane on SH1.
Fabulous presentation of cabinet food and blackboard menu. Food is quick to arrive. Great selection if you are gluten free or dairy free.
Comfy seating inside & out. Lovely countryside view if you eat outside. Plenty of parking. If the café is busy then be prepared to wait your turn if you need to use the bathroom.
With a vast range of delicious pizza options and unique sizes, this spot is perfect for gatherings, so booking ahead is a smart move!

Always great food and service at Pompeii! Love the extra care for small people with pizza dough to shape while they wait. And the gluten free base was delicious!
