Stopped by for a quick bite on my first night in Cairns. I’m coeliac and it was nice to see so many options. The chef also came out to double check if I was coeliac or just intolerant which I really appreciated.
Maple bacon burger & chips was very tasty. Would go back.

This is a wonderful place to spend an evening … a really lovely atmosphere, the service fantastic, the food and cocktails devine and the chef was so good with accomodating our coeliac. We were so impressed we’ve already been back for cocktails and booked again for dinner.

I am impressed. We had so many options and I got myself a glutenfree and vegan Chickpea Curry, it was awesome😍. And my better half and I had our second anniversary and got a cute designed dessert and got a really sweet decorated table. We sat near the water and had the most amazing view the whole time. Enjoyed it so much.

We became regulars here by mistake. Seeing a bunch of venues around the CBD offering their various lunch specials inspired our friend group to try them all. But when we got to Tha Fish, we no longer had the desire to continue the food tour.
Let’s start with the absolutely amazing $25 lunch deal which comes with one main and a beverage!! ALWAYS DELICIOUS, filling and awesome.
But then we look further down the menus and we reallllyyyy start to get into the fun stuff. The gyoza, the prawns, the fish main, the wines on offer … WE ARE TALKING ABOUT TOP SHELF STUFF HERE! And the team are always so happy and helpful. Just old school, good quality service. Plenty of Gluten Free and vego options as well if that’s your thing!!
Cannot speak highly enough and will always be returning.
Great spot with a lovely atmosphere, delicious meals, and responsive service, but watch out for the occasional server snark.

Had to leave a review to say the Gluten-Free fried chicken burger was the BEST GF chicken and BEST GF burger bun I’ve ever had!! (Why this isn’t already on Google I do not know) but I am SO glad I came across this absolute gem of a place while in Cairns. Partner had the non gluten free and his food was also amazing!
Awesome spot, venue, service and seriously best feed… and added bonus - a labelled GF beer completed my ease of ordering (and meal of course). 5 stars cause I can’t leave anymore. Top job guys!
Today I ate like I had no intolerances and it was amazing! So if you’re like me and searching for GF meals (and often faces disappointment) look no further!

We were vwry happy during our dinner. Gluten-free pasta is available. Penne, but an Italian penne which made such a difference. It tasted homemade, and we had to ask them about it.

GLUTEN FREE options which are suitable for COELIACS. We have one sensitive coeliac in our family and no issues. Authentic taste. Kids loved it too. We will be back.
They have a gluten free schnitzel but I called asking if I could order everything gluten free and they said yes that they always change the oil. When I arrived they told me that actually the fries are not gluten free. So I ended up eating only the schnitzel and I paid for a fries that I couldn’t eat.
Ordered the gluten free pizza here and was disappointed. Tasted like the base was made from a sao biscuit. Very dry. Stay clear of it to avoid disappointment guys.

This was one of the best fish curries I have ever eaten in my life. Was nice and spicy and great portion size. Reminded me of my grandmothers cooking.
Also they have gluten free options that are safe for celiacs - all curries are GF on the menu, and naan is made separately
I would highly recommend the food at this place. I’ll come again if I’m ever back in cairns.

Delightful experience!!! Could not believe their gluten free noodles taste just like the real thing… I repeat the real thing! None of this rice noodle nonsense. Beautiful little shop with seating inside and out. Seemed quite busy when we arrived, so I suggest booking in. Staff were phenomenal and the food… there are no words to describe how delicious, delectable and divine the ramen was. Will go back, have been back and will continue to return. Honestly check it out if you haven’t already!
