It is not gluten-free!!! It is not suitable for celiacs!!! I went after reading a review from a celiac who apparently is not celiac 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️because it is not suitable... yes for vegetarians but not for celiacs, it says gluten free on the menu but there is cross contamination, I went to eat and of all the menu and dishes that said gluten free I could only order salads and some rice noodles that only had vegetables, I ordered the rice noodles and they stayed on the table whole, they only tasted of ginger and coriander 🤦🏽‍♂️ the rest of the dishes had cross contamination, the service was very good, but it is not a restaurant for celiacs, it is a restaurant for vegetarians, I could not order the option with gluten free meat due to contamination. There is no gluten-free beer either.

Fantastic place for coeliacs. Most pizzas and some pastas have a gluten free option. Pizza is 9 inch and very tasty. The server also flagged up which desserts were GF. A really safe and delicious gluten free option you can trust

Gluten free menu!! They have a whole menu for celiacs! The manager will take your order personally and the food will come with a small flag to indicate the GF dish. The bbq burger was a dream

Just a few meters away and you can already spot the iconic Hard Rock Cafe door — a welcoming sight! I’ve been to their KL outlet before, and it’s always top notch, but this visit was another level. As soon as we stepped in, we were greeted by the friendly staff and assigned a table right by the stage. The ambience was absolutely rocking — vibrant vibes all around, with cool tracks playing that really set the mood for the night. Yes, the food is known to be on the pricier side, but it definitely lives up to the reputation. Tasty, satisfying, and worth it. We had a pleasant time and a truly great experience throughout our visit. A big thank you to Amirul (forgive me if I got the name wrong), the Operations Manager, and his team. You guys did a fantastic job, especially in handling my partner’s gluten-free burger request. The way you managed it was thoughtful and professional — much appreciated! Definitely coming back again soon.

Food was amazing and they did have gluten free choices. The staff were amazing - friendly and attentive and spoke really good English - great for tourists. Cocktails were yummy and really strong - can't complain about that.

Every time I come to KK I have to stop by El Centro. This time, they had updated the menu and the food was better than ever! They also have vegan/vegetarian and gluten free options. They do a quiz every Wednesday and the vibes in the evenings can't be beat in KK. Highly recommend!

They don't have a gluten free menu, but they do have a salad option, I had a superfood salad with lemonade. Everything was delicious, the staff was super friendly, in fact they told me they could ask the kitchen if a dish could be adapted. The ticket includes 10% of tips and 6% of I didn't understand what... I recommend sitting inside, the climate is very cozy, a lot of people and noise pass by outside.

One bold word: OVERPRICE. Chinahouse is undeniably a charming and artsy spot in George Town, perfect for hanging out or getting a little creative on their white canvas-covered tables — yes, you can doodle while you sip! The place has plenty of space and a unique vibe, with an inviting ambiance that’s great for chilling with friends. We ordered two slices of cake — the Tiramisu with alcohol and a gluten-free orange cake, paired with a small hot coffee and an iced chocolate. The total? Around RM87, which definitely made us raise an eyebrow. It’s steep, especially for casual dessert and drinks. That said, the Tiramisu was fantastic, especially if you enjoy the boozy kick. The orange cake was decent, but nothing too special. The garden porch at the back seemed a bit abandoned, which was a slight letdown, though the overall vibe of the place remained pleasant. Despite the price, we had a good experience and appreciated the friendly hospitality. Final thoughts? If you’re a die-hard Tiramisu lover, it’s worth a try — but be prepared to pay a premium. Still, a lovely spot for the occasional treat.
