We came on Wednesday and were served by Luka. He did a fantastic job, was attentive and friendly!
I am gluten free and was impressed with the variety of options, I went for the GF fish and chips which was delicious and my mom the pesto gnocci.
Overall was a lovely meal and would definitely return! 😊

I made the wrong order in the app. I needed it to be gluten free but something went wrong. I phoned, they changed it super easy with no fuss. I turned up, they didn't charge the extra, and again made it super easy and friendly, and the burger was delish. Thanks - this is a great customer experience!
Enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with top-notch service, where delightful dishes and refreshing drinks create a memorable dining experience.

Very good experience at Charlotte’s kitchen. Staff were friendly, atmosphere was great (but very busy) and the food came out fast and was delicious. Highly recommend getting at least one pizza!
The best thing is that they take food allergies seriously. The menu is labeled (eg gluten free, dairy free, vegan etc) so you know what’s what. And the staff always ask the kitchen if you have any further questions.
Definitely recommend this place if anyone in the family has dietary restrictions.

Brilliant meal and friendly staff. Well situated, and great variety menu. Chef well in the know when it comes to gluten free prep. Celiacs and vegetarians spoilt for choice. Highly recommended.
Enjoy a lively atmosphere with fun board games, vintage decor, and a bustling vibe, perfect for families and pet-friendly too!

Was happily informed about the specials of 2 large pizzas for $32. It was clearly a popular deal as the place was very busy. Got a table easily enough and was cool to find they offered board games to play. So playing cards was a good option while there was a long wait (though this was because they were down on staff).
We got 2 pizzas for kids to share (Spicy Pepperoni and Popcorn Chicken), and hubby and I shared a gluten free Bacon Cheeseburger. The GF base was excellent and they said they made it on site. Menu would be helpful if things were clearer which toppings were GF. (Regular fries were GF, curly fries were not).
A good atmosphere, fun looking at the old movie posters and car plates, a bit too many tvs which distracted kids (and adults).
Overall worth the good deal if you’re happy to wait.
Great Thai food with a really tasty blend of flavours! Service was excellent too. It was also excellent to see most of the menu could be made gluten free!
Amazing views and a vibrant atmosphere make this spot perfect for enjoying quality time while indulging in satisfying dishes.

We were blown away by the service we received when we visited. Our daughter has coeliac disease and the staff were super helpful explaining what she could and couldn't eat. When her pizza was a little late coming out, we were given updates to say it was not far away. Everything tasted great and the restaurant filled up while we were there but this didn't mean a drop in the attention we received.
We had originally planned to just get takeaway pizzas and eat on the beach but we're glad we chose to eat in instead. We will definitely be back.
Impressive takeout with delightful bases and high-quality toppings, making it a top choice for pizza lovers, despite the higher prices.

Ordered take out pizza on our last night in Paihia. Meat lovers and the Hawaiian. Wasn’t expecting much but was super impressed! Lovely bases, both gluten free and traditional with generous high quality toppings. On the pricier side but haven’t had many better pizzas and came out quickly. Highly recommended.
This spot serves amazing Thai dishes and offers a lovely dining atmosphere along with tasty pineapple juice for a refreshing treat.

My fave place to get Thai! Dine in or takeaway. Able to make lots of dishes gluten free. The pad Thai is the best I’ve had! Plus the pineapple juice is so yum. Staff always friendly and welcoming.
OMG! The gluten free base is to die for. Pizza Jacks is incredible. Wickedly tasty and hot. Such great value. Absolutely the BEST. All the other Pizza chains should shut their doors.
Great atmosphere but that's where it ends.
They put Gluten Free on most of the menu but only had one option that was actually Coeliac friendly. Do not recommend for people with actual dietary requirements.
Discover a hidden gem in a busy lane with big portions and a delightful vibe that makes it a must-visit in Whangarei.

Expensive for what you get. Save your $5 extra for Gluten Free and just order a normal pita with no pita as that's all you get. Otherwise meat was good but salads nothing special.
Quirky vibes with cool art make this spot enjoyable, even if the burgers could use a little more flavor; thick shakes and tasty sides shine!

Delicious sides and thick shake
Burgers lacked a bit of flavour, could have done with more sauce.
Service was not too bad. They had sold out of buns at 6.30 on a Saturday evening and were given gluten free buns as an alternative.
OMG .. I'm celiac, holidaying in Paihia
...and if you dont call in or order online, you are missing out on an amazing meal. Easily the best Thai, best Gluten free choices and really friendly, happy staff. I'll be back 🙂
The tamariki and adults loved their butter chicken, vegetarian, and salami pizza's on gluten-free bases. Not a crumb in sight after lunch. You guys rock.
This spot offers on-site cooking for events, ensuring fresh and tasty dishes that impress guests at any gathering.

Have dinned at Lone star Whangarei a few times now and it has been good but very disappointed by our recent experience.
It was quite quiet when we first arrived but did get a bit busier while there. Either way we didn't see much of our waitress. First complaint was a 1/4 strength coffee was made quite strong but this was remedied. Secondly my sister was told her lasso meal was unavailable and asked to choose something else which she did only to find out that it was actually my new porker meal that was unavailable. This was only after I had started to eat my meal and said this doesn't seem like what I ordered that my sister noticed that it was what she had ordered!! The lasso isn't something I would have ordered as I don't eat a lot of gluten.
I would have been okay with the mistake if staff had been apologetic but no one was and blame was but elsewhere on the mistake. We were then going to be charged for the more expensive lasso meal that I didn't even want (except I ate because I was starving by time meals finally arrived). So we did end up only paying for the slightly lesser new porker meal but a bit disappointing having to eat a meal I never ordered or wanted and staff not even caring. I really doubt I will be back or anyone else from our party of 11.
While tirelessly searching for a gluten free meal in Dargaville at 3 in the afternoon, we finally found Shariz only to be told they were closed. The manager then offered to stay open so we could eat, despite the fact that were said we would find somewhere else. He was extremely friendly and helpful. I was a bit concerned because my family is not a big fan of indian food (while I absolutely love it), so fortunately the menu had a large variety. My dad got the pizza, which he planned to only eat a few slices of, but said it was so amazing he ended up finishing it. He raved about that pizza for awhile. My mom and sister got the fried rice and raved about how amazing that was as well. I got the Paneer Kadhai and it was some of the best I have ever had. We all would have walked away raving about the food anyway, but the service and kindness we got from the owner left us walking away even more impressed. I would highly recommend to anyone!
